Dion Groeneweg
Dion has over 30 years international business experience and 25 years of experience designing and implementing human capital-related solutions. He has advised clients in the High Tech, Energy, Financial Services, Natural Resources, Manufacturing, Higher Education and Health sectors. Dion has lived and worked in SE Asia, Southern and West Africa, North America, United Kingdom and Australia. He has been based in Singapore for the past 12 years.
Currently he is Managing Partner at the Cape Group Global, which he founded in 2004. He has expertise in Business Strategy (Workforce Planning and Analytics) , HR Systems & technology (system architecture & systems selection), HR processes (Payroll, Talent Management, Learning and Recruitment), Organisation transformation, , Learning strategy design and change management.
From 2014 to 2017, he led Mercer’s HR Transformation and Workforce Planning and Analytics team as well as the Centre of Excellence for their Growth Markets region (Japan, China, South East Asia, Middle East Africa and LATAM).
Before establishing the Cape Group, he was a partner at Deloitte. From 2001 to 2003, he held the position of Regional Director for Human Capital for the Asia-Pacific and Africa Region. In this role he was part of the Asia Pacific Regional Management team of Deloitte. He also led their SAP Learning and Change practice for the Western region of the USA, between 1996 and 2001.
