I am a passionate and seasoned veteran of business analytics with extensive solutioning and senior management experience.

 

In 2013, I co-founded Red & White Consulting Partners LLP (R&W) with Sally Taher, the former Director of Citi Indonesia's Decision Management. A boutique consulting firm specialising in Business Engineering, R&W has deep experiences and complementary expertise in Financial Analytics, Business Analytics, and Human Analytics, bringing a holistic approach to problem solving that has proven to be effective in impacting the bottom-line. We 'connect the dots' between People, Products and Profits.

 

Prior to R&W, I was the Customer Intelligence Practice Lead for North Asia at SAS where I lead the growth of the CI business and developed the region’s business advisory capabilities.

 

Prior to joining SAS, I was the Managing Director and Head of the Citibank’s Decision Management function for Asia Pacific where I led a team of 330 analysts embedded across 14 countries. Our innovative and extensive business analytics work contributed to 25% of Citi's consumer bank revenues in the region. Widely recognised as the father of the modern data warehouse at Citi AP, I have spent much of my 18 years at Citi shaping and honing the analytics function into its current leadership position and championing the use of analytical methods in enhancing business strategies and delivering P&L advantage.

 

My passion for Analytics has taken me onto the public stage where I have spoken extensively on the topic at conferences hosted by Asian Banker, Forrester, CNET and SAS. I founded the SAS User Group (Singapore) and served as Chairman of the Executive Committee till Jan 2013, and was awarded the Outstanding Science Alumnus Award by the National University of Singapore for my contributions to the business analytics industry.
