THE SOLUTION

 

We worked with the board to design a remuneration package for the top three levels of the organization which included strategic, operational and reputational KPIs which guided the turnaround of the airline. The goal was to improve the financials to the point where the business could be sold.

THE OUTCOME

The package was designed and implemented, KPIs were used as the guidelines for the turnaround effort. The company improved its financials as well as its reputation and was eventually sold, as planned. This project is now a written case study for business students.
